Two hours before school, or it does not happen
I started because I was the skinniest kid on the team. I kept going because it is the one part of the day nobody else can do for me.
































Married. A house people actually want to come to. Still training, still reading the Bible before I touch my phone, and enough money that it stops being the first thing I think about in the morning. I wrote the whole profile out, because a goal you have not written down is just a mood you had once.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. That is the whole argument in two lines, and I lose it about twice a week.
Four books last year. Nine so far this year. It is not supposed to be a competition and it absolutely is.
It takes four extra minutes and people treat you differently. I am not going to pretend that is deep, but it is true.
The rule is simple. The hard part is the first fifteen minutes, and I lose that fight more often than I want to write down.
My mom started it. I complained about it for a year. It is now the best hour of my week and I am not going to admit that to her.
No refs, no clock, everybody calls their own fouls. You find out fast what kind of person somebody is out there.
Nothing deep about it. My head is just quieter after two hours of walking uphill with no signal.
